Over the years, within the spiritual community, there has been a whole lot of hoopla and chitter-chatter about the concepts of Soul Mates and Twin Souls, in attempts to define deeper relationship meanings within the entangled matrix called, life. There are convoluted mixtures of opinions based on these terms that humans tend to use to make sense of their world and their relationship with it. And so we are left with a perplexing question, "What’s the difference between these adopted titles and do these things even exist?"
Let's face it, it’s a thrilling thought to anticipate such things; to savor the sacred reunion through one’s own infinite and unquenchable desires. The participants wait to be dished up what’s been on their heart’s menu for years. Oh, to wish upon a star no matter where you are for the unimaginable dream can indeed be a delightfully delicious feeling. So a poignant question remains . . . "What do these dazzling reunions look like, feel like, taste like, smell like, and sound like?" Have we got your attention yet?
Now, before we begin . . . it should be noted that it is not our intent to burst the heart of anyone's fantasy bubble. This article has been divinely channeled to bring greater clarity for you, the reader, perhaps offering a clearing of any misunderstandings or confused inner dialogue between your mind and your heart. Let's move on to the real story shall we?
Throughout our lifetime, we engage with countless individuals, day after day, month after month, year after year. At times, in certain situations, perhaps there are tingling feelings of familiarity that try to surface within the heart, or fleeting impressions of vague recognition, or synchronistic similarities of likes or dislikes, yet to the common human, most often shrug these things off without a second thought, that is . . . until we begin to awaken to the deeper side of life - the side that very few talk about, acknowledge, or even know about.
Many simply go through the motions of life seemingly tossed from relationship to relationship, with exuberant beginnings, plateauing middle peaks, and then possibly spiraling downward, facing the most dreadful of endings. Such drama within the spiraling sequences of life can leave us wandering about for answers to life's most perplexing questions.
Even still, we promise, it's quite alright. Once we come to understand that everything is divinely designed to bring us to a place where true love can be found, we can be free to live exuberantly and abundantly; not to mention - indefinitely! Yes, there is indeed a ebb and flow to everything within us and around us. The waves of relationships roll in and roll out, flooding our lives with a multitude of experiences designed to support each of our forgetful selves in remembering who we were to begin with.
Before we came into this world, or in other words, before we chose to take on a physical body, we entered into multiple soul contracts with countless other souls in our pre-life existence. We all started off with good intentions, however, due to the deep conditioning of this physical plane many have forgotten even making such agreements with other souls, thus spiritual amnesia has deeply taken root within our minds and hearts. In essence we have all been lost in a sea of forgetfulness, among the many faces of life - time and time again.
To activate the memories of our soul body through our divine connection with God, is to heal the deeper aspects of the human body, so that each of us may transcend the limitations of the temporary human condition called, death. Such metamorphic transformation has often been referred to as the resurrection; to which we can choose to experience through the process called, death, or for a few souls who are spiritual and physically prepared, resurrected through the experience called, life.
Every soul goes through their own evolution and progression, and along the way, has multiple lifetimes, or incarnations to improve upon their ability to expand and ascend to the higher realms of love. On this particular world, there are many ages and stages of souls intermingling with each other. Call it an "Earth School," if you will, where there are various grades of development that each of us are subject to until we graduate or master a particular life lesson.
For example, some very old souls have come here to volunteer and support humanity through their growing pains or ascension process. These souls come from higher dimensions beyond this world, where they have learned to master certain spiritual gifts, which can in turn support others. Some older souls will often integrate into families that have mostly younger souls, to bring in and anchor a frequency of light within that particular family. So if you've ever felt somewhat displaced within your family, there's probably a good reason for that. Chances are you're just temporarily visiting. There are also many younger souls, who are barely beginning their journey and souls that are somewhere in between. It's a whole mixture of Human Be-ings.
Although most humans are steeped in deep spiritual amnesia, there are signs or indicators that point to what kind of soul contracts you may have entered into in this particular lifetime. As mentioned earlier, you can have multiple contracts to fulfill in any given lifetime. So now that we covered some foundational knowledge, let's examine the difference between soulmates and twin souls.
SOULMATES: In this particular physical earth plane of reality, the idea of soulmates has been romanticized to the umpteenth degree and then some. The good news is, you have already met your soul mate, in fact, you have met countless soulmates along your many lifetimes and soul journeys. We can define soul mates as those souls who have supported us, specifically stepping into well-defined roles for us which involve deeper learning, wisdom, and insights for our soul's ultimate growth. You can think of soul mates as a "helper souls" who are here to support you and the rest of the collective. We are, after all, in this together, for better or for worse, and that includes your former husband or wife.
We are all soul mates to one degree or another, as we are all connected through many spiritual planes of existence, lifetime after lifetime, experience after experience, relationship after relationship. A soul mate can be any of the following: a friend, family member, coworker, acquaintance, lover, stranger, enemy, or anyone existing on the planet, for that matter. Soul mates can be familiar or unfamiliar, known or unknown, liked or disliked, and everything in between. We are are a mixed bag of dreamcatchers or if you prefer, "dream-makers in the making."
The soul contracts we make with our Soul Mates prior to arriving on the planet can be very specific. We vowed together to create specific lessons or experiences with a interesting mixture of both positive and negative affects that are designed to bring each of us to deeper levels of spiritual mastery. In doing so, not one was viewed as better than or less than the other. Upon engaging in such contracts on a more personal level with one another, we can experience intense levels of conflict, joy, passion, distress, pain, confusion, excitement, love, forgiveness, compassion, and everything in between that has the potential to awaken the most powerful parts of our sleeping self to rise to the invitation of divine love unfolding. The purpose of these soul contracts once made, were designed to support each of us in our ability to remember the full divine expression of love; to which we then have the opportunity to expand that love consciousness beyond the physical body. Our earth experiences, individually and collectively, both positive and negative, are designed to prompt the DNA activation of our soul body. We can call our various experiences growing pains or perfect opportunities created for our eventual awakening.
Our soul body consists of battery/energy systems know as the chakras, along with pixelated particles of activated and deactivated light. With this triggered activation of light codes initiated within the soul body, the souls body can then communicate and integrate with our physical body. In other words , the two bodies shall become one body. Some in the spiritual community refer to this as the Light Body, however, here we will refer to it as the "Crystalline Body," or the "Christed Body." The beautiful synergy between both bodies is miraculous, as each seeks to work together in a symbiotic relationship where each benefits in this remembering process. "Every-Body," puts out a specific frequency depending on how they respond to their reality.
TWIN SOULS Twin Souls, from the perspective of divine, loving consciousness, are two souls originating from the same energetic essence, divine creation, or individual soul. These souls were at one time during the creation process, one divine intelligence. Over a period of navigating and mastering multidimensional times, at some point this destined soul chose to expand it's consciousness through the process of evolution by splitting into two seemingly separate conscious souls, still energetically tethered together. The soul continues to expand it's consciousness through multiple lives in the earth realms and also multiple soul experiences in the spirit realms.
In the splitting of the soul, through the breath of God, Twin Souls ultimately create mirror reflections of one another, vibrating at a frequency that calls them into deep spiritual and sacred union. Twin Souls serve as catalysts for profound transformation and awakening within themselves and those they come in contact with through their multiple experiences of reality. By splitting their consciousness, Twin Souls accelerate their ability to transmit energy to each other throughout the folds of time; meaning one soul may be experiencing it's existence in the spirit realms, while the other may be experiencing it's existence in the physical realms, yet always cojoined energetically.
The connection between Twin Souls transcends physical reality, operating on the levels of vibrational energy, intuition, and higher conscious awareness. The high frequencies of Twin Souls create an energetic grid across time, space, and distance regardless of where they might be. As they experience consciousness expanding itself, the energetic pull becomes stronger as more and more information is filtered and processed through their collective experience, until they are ready to reunite in physical form.
When twin flames reunite, in the same life experience, even if meeting for the very first time, they typically experience an intense recognition, or a feeling of “being home” within one another. The feeling is often supersedes the supernatural as the vibrations of the souls bodies recognize it's own vibration creating a magnetic pull that is undeniable. It can feel joyfully overwhelming and scary at the same time.
Although the soul was originally one divine intelligence, the physical reality can often interfere, cascading disrupted shadows into the vibratory light. Twin Souls often face difficult challenges that require them to transcend old karmic wounds, surrender ego-driven patterns, forgive the forgetfulness, in order to ascend into higher states of spiritual refinement and enlightenment.
